Shanna recently relocated to Northampton, MA, from Israel. She holds an M.Ed. in Special Education from Lesley University, with over a ‎decade of experience in teaching and curriculum development, and a long lasting commitment to healthy sexuality matters. She is certified from the Israeli ‎Family Planning Association as Healthy Sexuality Educator and Group Facilitator. Shanna has logged ‎hundreds of hours facilitating workshops and other educational opportunities on healthy sexuality matters with youth and adults on a variety of topics.  In ‎addition, she has advanced studies in an AASECT Approved program “Sexuality Education, Counseling and Therapy for People ‎with Special Needs”,  in the Continuing Education Department, Haifa University, ‎Israel, and is pursuing AASECT certification. What’s more, in Israel she was highly involved in social justice events for the LGTBQ ‎community, non-monogamy, and feminine empowerment. In her practice, she integrates knowledge, skills and ‎experience from the realms of functional diversity, sexuality and social justice. Through an honest and empathetic approach, Shanna continuously advocate for individual rights, education and choice, instilling a sense of ability in all.

At this time, Shanna hopes to be ‎given the chance to bring this and more to the Valley community and beyond.
